I haven't seen either of the two you mention, but I've heard great things about Danny Gans.

I've seen and wholeheartedly recommend Blue Man Group, Mystere and "O". The latter two are Cirque du Soleil shows. All three are different than your typical Las Vegas shows, but are fun and entertaining.
