Illegal collectors...Beverley Country Club

The luxurious Beverley Country Club opened in 1946 at 217 Labarre Road in Jefferson Parish just outside of New Orleans. According to Robert Lancey , author of the book Little man. Myer Lanske and the Gangster Life, “Frank Costello, the owner, gave Myer Lansky 25% of the first two years profits for his help with the layout and setting up of the casino.” The casino was closed down following the Kefauver investigation.
I am offering the following two chips from the Beverley Country Club. Please note that all are in used condition and have table wear and have some small chips or dings along the edges. The hot stamp is legible. I will ship the best ones to the first to respond. I am enclosing a scan of the best of the lot. Yours may not be the chip shown in the scan. However, you can return any chip for a full refund if you are not happy.
Email any questions.
