Thank you for your last post Vladimir, it is helpful in understanding this matter. I know James and his mother Sue Campiglia and have bought many chips from them. I do not know Omaha Mike. Chip dealers are free to offer any chip at their own price. The buyer has to determine if that is the price he wants to pay. It is not uncommon for a chip to have a different price in a different situation. A chip may have a different price from the next dealer or it may sell on eBay for a different price. I don't think it would be fair for me to strike a deal with a seller and then expect him to match any lower price I might find in the future. Most collectors I know buy chips they desire and are prepared to either meet the asking price or continue to search for a better bargain.

I have always been treated fairly by James and Sue and would not hesitate to send a buyer to them but I would expect the buyer to make his own decision to buy or not. I also think that ANY seller of chips probably has a customer that has regretted the deal that was struck. And don't forget that sometimes it can be the BUYER that gets the best part of the deal! James and Sue have always kept buyers aware of the names they use while they sell at auction and why they use different names.

It is interesting to folks on the board to find out about eastern European chips. We know that it can be a lot more difficult to collect there.
