Just back from my earliest Fort McDowell tournament exit. Pocket Kings meet pocket aces. Not the first time and won’t be the last time I am sure. They have some good no limit tournaments every day. Twice a day during the week, if you happen to be in Phoenix.
My car overheated on they way there this morning so I missed out the bonus chips for playing before the tournament. A nasty surprise sense it cost me $400 to ransom it back from the dealer yesterday. Cracked battery. Amazing the damage they can do. Plus they found a leak. When do they never find a leak? Never! Lucky for me the warranty covered the leak. So I am driving an Areo until I get mews about my car on Tuesday.
Now for some chip news. When I colored out after playing blackjack two weeks ago I noticed the $25 dollar chips were different shades of green. I do not collect the $25s, but if you do it is something you may want to look for. Got a nice surprised when I won a hand playing blackjack today before the poker tournament started. The chip in the scan came in the payout. I thought these were long gone.
