ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (May 24, 2004) -- Whoopi Goldberg is returning to Resorts Atlantic City in more ways than one!

When Goldberg comes to Resorts Atlantic City May 28 through 30, she’ll perform three wonderful shows in the Superstar Theater. But, if you are a casino player, you’ll be seeing her in all the “old, familiar places” on the casino floor.

To commemorate Goldberg’s debut at Resorts in May 2002, Resorts Atlantic City released a $5 Whoopi Goldberg gaming chip. If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to get a Whoopi Goldberg limited edition chip when Whoopi made her first appearance at Resorts, here’s your second chance. To celebrate Whoopi’s return, Resorts is re-releasing, the limited number of remaining chips. One gaming table on the casino floor will have the chips available on Thursday, May 27th. The chips are legal gaming chips and can be used to place and pay off wagers on Resorts’ casino floor.
