Over the past week, to week and a half I've gotten hit by numerous Virii! I got hit by Exploit-ObjectData, which is a variation of the Sasser-A worm, and BackDoor-AXJ, which is a variation of the Downloader-w worm.

Between the two of them, they Hosed my 'puter! I lost almost everything, and they almost gained access to my financial info.

Even McAfee couldn't rid them, nor could the help I got from Microsoft. I had to take my losses, save my uncorrupted files, then F-Disk!

I've been at this for 14hrs now, and am looking at another 8.

Outlook Express users...Turn OFF your preview pane, that's how they come in! Even if you don't click the message, it's been read! I was negligent, and now I'm paying the price!

I always thought that because I know my way around the 'puter, I would never get hit. But I let my guard down on this issue, and got slammed!

Once I'm back up and fully running, I'll post my steps to killing Virii. Right now I can only read email through my WebMail.
