Re: I was not 'informing' you, I was reminding you

David,

Hope this helps you.

First, we did offer one or two chips to those that asked.

Second, our cost, was more than a dollar, so certainly couldn't sell them for less than our cost!

Third, we cancelled our order, after learning about the situation, as we were misinformed of their use at the final table from the start!

We are scheduled to receive a few of each color chips to send those that still wanted one or two even though we notified them they were not used at the final table.

Since you are unaware of our situation, we were misinformed big time and NEVER knew about their lack of final table use until, thankfully, Gene gave me a heads up. He found out from the TD and then emailed me that they were, in fact, SUPPOSED/INTENDED to be used for the final table but gaming stopped it. So even the supplier and the RPT THOUGHT they would be used as they indicated.

I do not want to answer for Gene regarding what he found out, but it is fair to say my info was obtained through Gene, not the supplier so I did not know.

FYI, to confirm what we were told, these chips have been sold/are being sold on ebay (http://search.ebay.com/river-poker-tour_W0QQsokeywordredirectZ1QQfromZR8QQhtZ1) for days, by a number of sellers, starting bid is $3+ a chip (we offered them for $1 and change). It is clear from every one of their listings that they, too, are STILL being told what we were told, that these were used at the final table.

I have thanked Gene personally and will now thank him publicly for bringing this to light!

Hope this helps you know what we knew as you were misinformed.
