is a facet of my collection but I do not have many. Notgeld and Confererate currency (IMO) are the two most counterfeited notes. After all, is not against the law to counterfeit them. (as long as misrepresentation and fraud are not part of the picture).

For those who are wondering what Notgeld is, it is German emergency currency both coin and paper produced by non-government parties to fill the void when there was a shortage of currency or inflationary times. Used around 1917 and again around 1922.
