Bridging past membership....
In Response To: CCGTCC membership ()

Tom,

E-mail the Membership Officer (Ralph Myers at membership@ccgtcc.com) regarding this. He will tell you that you can bridge your past membership to a new membership, just by paying the dues amount for the break-in-service. This will make you current and your old number will be re-issued.

I believe that Ralph is working today and he gets home late, however, try to email him. Theoretically, Ralph can calculate how much you would owe, you can "re-new" via the web-site and then submit for Pre-Registration.

HOWEVER, since I am not the Membership Officer, I do not know the finer, detailed workings of that office and I do not know the effective date of an on-line enrollment.

In order to do Pre-Registration, you need your valid Membership number. So it is quite possible that you may not be able to meet today's deadline.

HOWVER, do not dispair. Today's deadline is not for attendance at the complete Convention schedule of activities. Technically, only the ability to Pre-Register expires today. Pre-Registration is not a requirement for attendance at the Convention. In fact, Members can just show up (Thursday) and get admittance by verifying Membership and then making the required payment. People who are not members are allowed Convention-days Membership as part of an admission fee.

I hope this helps. And BTW, Welcome back.
