I too like the look of the traditional clay chip with the mold. Another sourse for the clay chips with the same inlay designs is www.kardwell.com, who offers more edge-spot combinations, I believe. However, I have also been looking at Matsui Gaming, which has both coin-in-center and brass slug core chips.

As far as who uses the inlays currently, I think they were more popular in days of yore, and most clay composite chips today are Paulson 'hat and cane' mold. However, I was out chipping last night north of Seattle, and ran across the Drift on Inn in Shoreline. I got 4 brand-new $1 chips, all with the 'American' (i.e., 4 'A') mold, as advertised on both the pokerchips and kardwell site. Suddenly that made me want them more for my custom chip set vbg.
