This is a neat set of chips from the Silver Spur casino in Cripple Creek. The casino was only open for about a year and three months in 1996/97.

Apparently the Silver Spur only issued these chips in sets. I am not even sure the casino had table games. I would be most grateful for any information about this casino. I have seen a lot more of the $25 chips than I have of the $1 & $5 chips. Perhaps it is because most of the ones and fives are in collections? Even though this set has a modest catalog value it is a very difficult set to locate.

I buy and trade for Colorado chips. I would be interested in hearing from any collectors of Colorado chips.
