The Roulette chip pictured in the scan is from the "High Roller" table at Motor City Casino in Detroit, Michigan. The table minimum is $25.00 per spin and you have to bet with $5.00 chips. The Wheel is the European style Single "0" type. I figured I would buy 6 chips and play 5 = $25.00 and walk away with one chip as a souvenir for my collection. When I play roulette I always play #27 and the numbers on boyh sides of 27. I usually play on double "00" wheels, but I have played on single "0" wheels several times in the past. I got a couple of scorecards with the layout of the wheel from the pit boss and watched as a guy played $25 and $100 chips all over the table. After about 4 or 5 spins he lost all of his money - several thousands of dollars and he left the table. I walked over and purchased $30.00 worth of $5.00 chips in the dark blue color. I placed 5 chips on the layout and put one chip in my pocket. I was pleasantly surprised to see that one of my numbers had hit and I had won $175. The game was on - I continued to play and continued to win. I had my souvenir chip in my pocket and I also had over $700 of chips in front of me on the table when I decided it was time to color-up and leave. I was the only one playing at the table. I did not want to run into a problem and jeopardize my winnings by trying to leave the table with an additional 19 more roulettes, like I normally would do. The dealer cashed me out and I asked him if he wanted a tip in cash or if he wanted me to play some numbers for him. He said play the numbers I had been playing and he would take his chances. I bet five $5.00 chips on my numbers and lo and behold #36 one of my five numbers hit. I walked off with $700, the dealer got a $180 tip and I got the unique "0" Roulette chip for my collection.
