Extra! Returned from Vegas-Downtown Update Extra!

The Shoe was very busy as expected the entire weekend w/lots of Poker Players and onlookers abound. Kudos to Harrah's for allowing free parking WITHOUT the need for validation (or the parking gate arms were broken). We assume the former which makes it more convenient when parking.

Most folks we talked with were glad to be working
again and happy with the way things are running which was great to hear. After their many years of service and dedication, they certainly deserve it. The overall space inside the Horseshoe seemed had fewer Slots and it appeared their were wider aisles and a more open area in general. Still seemed dark though.

Funny how when we asked four different cage employees if they had any of the "old" Horseshoe chips available, all four of them said "who wants them, since they will be "worthless" shortly! Nice to hear as they handed a few $1 chips over to us with their funny looks.

Employees at the Plaza mentioned tighter rules and held to it regarding swapping of Strikes. We felt the service for drinks while playing craps and slots was very slow compared to what we have received in the past and others mentioned it at our craps table as well.

Didn't see any noticable changes other than new chips at LVC.

Hopefully the larger crowds downtown will remain long after the WSOP and allow the Fremont street casinos to prosper and provide a lasting image of
old Vegas.

Thanks to everyone for all the orders making this our biggest trip in terms of orders, by far!! We had more orders than we could possibly fill in 2 1/2 days, so we appreciate it. We hope our low prices and service keeps everyone coming back each month!

We do apologize to those orders we could not fill due to simple time constraints and the need to eat and sleep!

FYI, we now have the 4 different $1 Horseshoe chips that were recently issued.

$8.00 for the 4 chip set, plus $2.00 Shipping.
Single chips are $2.19 plus $1.00 shipping.

Thanks again.
