I bought these chips from the owner of the Sutter Club card room in Folsom, CA. The place closed down back in the 80s. There are five different chips - both sides of each are shown. The denominated chips have the owner's initials on them (J. S.). He said the yellow chip with the "S" was used as a $5 chip. I don't see these listed in Eastman's book but I think there are some JS Hat&Cane chips known that are from the Lakeside Bowl in Auburn but I don't know what they look like. These are definitely from the Sutter Club in Folsom. The 50 cent chips are pretty worn and the 10 cent chips are near new. I would like to sell the set of five chips for $10 - including shipping. I have 9 sets in about this condition - the rest of the chips were a bit more worn. If you are interested, drop me a note.
