The Isle of Capri Casino opened on 29 December 1998. At that time they issued a Grand Opening $5 chip and a regular issue $5 token. The $5, Grand Opening Chip, supposedly had an issue of 1,500. They were issued in box sets consisting of the $5 chip and token. I do know that this chip is not seen that often. In the last year I can only remember once that the chip was listed on Ebay and it was in the boxed set. It might pay to pick up a few of these chips if you can.
