Jim Noll and Bjoern Zabel. Here is the answer...

Sorry this took so long, but I had to locate my set!

Jim - What you have is one card for each denomination from this card game set. I bought this set at a yard sale or thrift shop in Vegas. In the scanned images you can see the two packets of "Casino Chip" cards, which are used as betting pieces. Sort of like paper plaques! vbg

In my set each packet is still sealed closed, and I don't want to open them. With the set there is a single deck of playing cards. I have shown the back and face of both Jokers and Ace of Spades.

The "CASINO" "16 Games of Chance" is a booklet giving the rules for 16 different games; Pinching,Suit, Twelves, My Aunt - Your Aunt, Ecarte, Black Jack (Twenty-one), Shrum-Shrum, Trading, Stacking, Triplets, Charakir, Nines, Hazard, Red Dog, Sword and Chace the Ace.

You can also see both side of the box. The maker (ACE) is in "Western Germany" which dates this to pre-unification of the Germanies. And the picture is captioned "Societe des Bains de Mer, Monte-Carlo"

Regards,

Jim Follis
