I'm sure it's happened to all of us at one time or another and it was my turn this weekend... an envelope from a fellow chipper arrived - empty. Left side of the envelope ripped open - chips looted. I guess the only good that comes from something like this is a reminder to all chip shippers to pack your items as safely as you possibly can - immobilize them inside the padded envelope - and use plenty of tape on the outside - make it as tough as possible for the USPS to (unintentionally or not) damage your precious contents!
