Re: Thanks to many people to make this happen

Hi Michael,

Hopefully Pam H. will be here with more information, but until then....

I've put together a few displays of "stuff", here's a couple of links:

there's a shadow box here: http://community-2.webtv.net/rrascal1/STUFF/page19.html

and swizzle sticks here:
http://community-2.webtv.net/rrascal1/STUFF/page18.html (also, 1-2 pictures down from the swizzles, there's a pic of clowns on the commode...you can see the bottom edge of a frame with matchbooks)

What I've done, is used foam core board as the backing (in the shadow box I glued fabric over it, for the swizzles and matchbooks I left it plain). I've attached items with a needle and nylon thread (fishing line). I've used that method with several things that I didn't want to glue. For chips & dice, I've cut holes in the foam core and pushed them in. (I don't recommend doing that with rare or special dice as the foam could damage them over time. Not sure if the foam might damage chips, probably safer to put them in an airtite first).

Hope this gives you a couple of ideas, the stuff is fun to collect and it makes great displays and conversation pieces! grin
