00 - 3 times in a row - parlay = $7.735.00 payoff
In Response To: What was your best bet? ()

I did this at a Roulette wheel at the Claridge in Atlantic City in 1990. Believe it or not, I was down to my last 5 chips, so I bet the table minimum of $5.00 - $1.00 each on my 5 favorite #'s 00, 1, 10, 25 and 27. First spin (00) hit $1.00 bet= $35.00 payoff. 2nd spin (00) hits again my $20.00 straight up bet= $700.00 payoff. 3rd spin (00)hits again, my $200.00 straight up(table max)= $7,000.00 payoff. 4th spin $200.00 straight up on 00 (table max) - #16 came up, end of the streak. Total payoff in 3 spins $7,735.00. The funny thing was after the 2nd spin a new dealer was brought in to "Spin the Wheel", I don't know why, maybe change of shift by coinicidence or the Casino wanted another dealer to spin the wheel to stop the streak. When she went to pay me off with three and a half stacks of black chips ($100's) -70 chips, her hands were shaking so bad that she spilled the chips all over the table twice as she was pushing them over to me. Claridge was a small Casino and I guess she thought she was going to get fired for hitting the 3rd straight - 00 and costing the Casino $7,000.00. I tipped the dealers $300.00 and left the Casino with over $7,200.00.
That's another reason, why they call me,
"Mr. Roulette"
P.S. I hope the guy from England hits it big at the Roulette wheel. He only has to get one spin right.
