The town of Cabazon...
In Response To: Re: Is Cabazon on Indian land? ()

is located about 15 miles west of Palm Springs along I-10. Club Cabazon was a private card room that operated in this town. The Morongo Indian Reservation is located in the general vicinity of the town. They are the owners of Casino Morongo, which opened in 1992.

The Cabazon Band of Mission Indians do indeed currently own Fantasy Springs Casino and Lanes, formerly known as Indio Bingo Palace and also Desert Oasis. They are located in the town of Indio, CA which is approximately 25 miles east of Palm Springs along I-10. It was the principals of this tribe that are mentioned in the legal case. Had it not been for the people involved in that case, there would not be a Federal Indian Gaming Act.

I hope this clears up some of your questions.
