Carlin would be a nice place if you like solitude. The only Casino I can remember being open was the State Inn. It looked like time had lost it's way around there, we didn't go in.

We were there early in the afternoon. I had driven since Reno. Time for Lynn to drive. Went to big convenience store kitty corner from State Inn. 100+ degrees out. Got lots of ice, lemonade. Made big gallon container with a liter of 92 Proof Bombay Blue Sapphire Gin, lemonade and ice.

I was now ready to do what I do best, looking out the window and explaining the world to my sweetie. On the road Again!!! Damn, that Gin and Lemonade hit the spot.
