1917 Calif club inlaid chips for sale & ID request

I was just sent these neat chips (picture below). I'll list these on eBay soon. You can have a set of all 10 (5 die-cut inlaids and 5 hot-stamped) for $32 postpaid-insured. Great condition, return privileges. Email me if you want a set.

I'd like more information about them.

What I do know for sure is:
(1) according to the photo-sample-order records of the U.S. Playing Card Co. and Herz , they were ordered by H.C. Evans and Co. (the famous large Chicago gambling supply house) in 1917. Probably there were other orders.
(2) a large number of collectors say the chips were used in Stockton, California, by the Wong brothers. The brothers built the Lincoln Hotel in Stockton in 1920. Their initials are supposed to be on the chips.

If you can supply more info. and documentation and books where the chips are listed, please let me know.
