That's right, Ron. I have observed this useage in the British and Australian casinos that have craps tables. Remember also, placing the 4 or 10 pays 1.80-1.00, and odds payoff on 6 or 8 is 1.20-1.00. If a casino has less than a 5 unit minimum, they will need .20 or .10 chips no matter what currency they are using.
