mad WARNING on MonCash Email mad

I was reading the letter I got from a company called MonCash to a friend - as we shared some thoughts on what we knew were the latest in "cyber-theft."

I commented that this one was better than most money-scams, because they used things that usually "the paranoid aand unyielding like me" may actually equate more with "trust". Bad for them, they caught me on a bad day to try to fool me... See, I did not recognize the name, email address, and I hadn't sold anything. vbg (so they were 0-3 on details...)

But, always curious who is leading the pack in vermin, I checked them out. (a few others have too) And being, I had already visited their website, I was going to read my friend what the website "offers". Without thinking, I clicked on the link from the email INSTEAD OF USING MY BROWSER and guess what???????? MonCash promptly dumped 3 Trojan horses on my computer. mad
The only thing Norton had time to do is warn me they got past us. mad mad

So WARNING: DO NOT RESPOND TO emails from MonCash. Do not try to pick up your e-check. This scam lures you subtly by using names you "like" (like names with vowels and everything! vbg ) and email addresses we recognize as "legit"... and enough money, even I read it twice. vbg
FYI:... the Email read:
This email confirms that you have received a Pending eCheck Payment for $128.25 USD from Donald Drake (donjo4112@swbell.net)

SCAM SCAM SCAM - these are CYBER_THEIVING, IDENTITY-CROOKS and BANK-DRAINING DEMONS mad
And knowing this, I got careless because I smugly knew I was "on to them". sad
Shame on me and MonCash! sad sad sad
