Bugged Chips and MindPlay™

I posted about RFID chips awhile back, I figured the "player tracking" feature of these chips was window dressing for paranoid casinos afraid of just the kind of thing that happened at Harrah's. I figured all those eyes in the sky was sufficent but guess again, right? I also don't mind counting cards now and then so I am not a fan of tagged chips or MindPlay either. I figured advantage players were another target of these rat-fink chips. Plus those ugly industrial looking Mindplay chips bleed all over the place.

Anyway, someone posted a link to a forum discussion about these kind of systems previously and I ran across the thread again this evening. It has been added on to and contains some interesting info about whether MindPlay may be against Nevada gaming regs!
