The spiral bindings were removed, the covers laminated with clear plastic, and a new spiral binding put in. The original covers are preserved quite nicely and the books are much better protected from damage and are less floppy in use. I had it done at Kinkos. Attached is a shrunken (original is printed on 8 1/2 x 11)scan of the format I want to use for a collector book. You can look at the pics and descriptions at the same time without flipping page back and forth.
