I wasn't even close!

Actually, I made a mistake in my bid. I was going to bid $15.55 (like that would have made a difference), but somehow my fingers typed $12.55. I'm such a damned cheapskate, that I wasn't going to pay more then that for the chip. I already have one in my collection, and I was just looking to pick up reasonably priced obsoletes for my trader list. I've been trying to pick up Nevada obsoletes at 50 percent of TCR value.

I had to laugh when I refreshed the page and saw that not only didn't I win the auction, but there were three other snipers swooping down from the sky. Even the guy that got his bid in with just 7 seconds left didn't get the chip.

But still at $20.50, the top bidder got the chip at a decent price.

I guess I won't be getting a "second chance offer" on this one.

My "hand sniping" worked on a few bids last night, as my bid was higher then the snipers! WhooHoo!
