Re: eBay sniping
In Response To: eBay Sniper Programs ()

You don't need a program to snipe, Carl. Just enough time to sit at your computer for the last 3 minutes of an auction. Split your browser screen, put the same auction on both screens, enter your one-and-only bid on screen 2 and submit it. Keep the request to confirm on screen 2. Keep doing a "refresh" of screen 1 as you watch the eBay clock count down to the end of the auction; you can also watch any early sniper bids as they show up there too. When you think it's time to confirm your bid, hit the submit button on screen 2. If you have a dialup connection you should allow 15-20 seconds. If you have a wideband connection, you can bid 8-10 seconds before the clock runs out.

I don't trust someone else (or something else) to bid for me... if you see me sniping, it's really me!
