Some Old Carousel Matchbooks

Thought some of the casino phillumenists might be interested in seeing this pair of old Carousel matchbooks. They date to the mid 1960's when Carousel operated in Downtown Las Vegas.

These are what is called die-cut or figural covers where the cardboard is cut to an interesting shape for the advertising, not just left in a rectangular form. Note the two varieties are nearly identical, and come from the same manufacturer... the only obvious difference is the color of the club name, solid orange like the horse on one, and outline blue like the cover background on the other. The insides are identical, orange backgrould with gaming pictures in white.

These are both relatively scarce front-striker matches, particularly in full-book form.
