I have read that the Silver Star Casino was opened by Benny Binion and then given to his daughter Becky. I beleive it opened in 1978 or around that time. Now here's the question. Did she actually run the Silver Star? If so, with its closure that same year, didn't that give an indication to the family that she could not manage a casino effectively. Then with the Horseshoe, did she make the same mistake twice? Any input from the History Buffs would be appreciated
