I think you were ripped off and had the right to tell the seller (member). I had a member charge me $7.30 to mail three silver strikes after I had ask if they "combined" shipping on three different auctions and gotten an affirmitive answer. I received the strikes in a bubble mailer with a stamp for $2.83 on it. I sent a polite note to said member that I think I was ripped off and would not be bidding on any futher auctions from them. I received an answer about how they had to go to the post office and stand in line and how much their supplies cost, ect. The bottom line is I haven't bid on any more of their auctions. My answer to you is no you were not out of line and should have pointed out that they had just ripped off a fellow member.
