I found this ashtray in an antique store. When I got home I looked up Beldon K on the web and found that he was one of the early owners of the El Rancho. When I read the link Bill Romano posted the other day I got a whole lot more of the story. Beldon inherited the El Rancho from his uncle Jake Katleman. Joe E refers to Joe E Lewis who entertained at the El Rancho. I don't know if these were sold in the gift shop or given as gifts to selected customers? This is a pretty big ashtray (9"X9").
