Your file is probably uncompressed or very little compression, also it's probably huge, like 3200 x 2400 in size.

The screen on a computer is about 640 x 480 (maybe a little less), 500 or 600 wide is full size for the BB.

Many of the chips on Chipguide are about 150 x 150 if that's any help. So a close-up of a chip can be 180 x 180 and be quite large enough for people to view.

An ashtray at 300 x 300 is fine.

Find some software that will "resize" the image. It probably came with the scanner or camera. 300 DPI for a scanner is fine. Anything more defined, the quality gets lost on the monitor so it's just a waste of time and space.

The above image of the Fortune Club $25 chip is 180 wide x 191 high.

How does it look? grin
