you had to cash in your money for the chips and use them to buy drinks. To beat all, you couldn't even "cash in" your left over chips when you wanted to leave. You should've heard the screaming bluestreaks when customers were told this. a glass of "bud"(old Milwaukee) was $4. No gambling in the place, but it had a great built-in urine smell. Really seedy place. It wasn't uncommon to see pregnant strippers hocking their assetts as well...Sure do miss it.
