Maybe it's just Me...

...but I can't understand why the family would "ever" let this property go! Technically, it's age qualifies it for The National Register of Historic Places.

Any property that is over 50yrs in age is eligible for consideration. You do not have to own the property to nominate it. As long as it has historic value to the community/state/country it is in, it may be considered.

Once accepted, a property cannot change it's design, or status without the written consent of the NRHP, and this is rarely given.

I'm a certified Archaeologist, and have worked on numerous NRHP nominations in the past!

I havn't looked at NRHP law in Vegas, but I'm assuming they have to follow the same rules as the rest of the country.
