The $1 chip looks similar to one of the original issue $1 chips from the Palace Casino in Edmonton, Alberta ( http://www.lcssinc.com/bigmike/palace.html )

I have seen that CS chip before but can't recall where it was associated to, and I have never seen the EX chip before but that doesn't mean it doesn't hail from Canada
