The casino is actually located across the road from the Prairie Island Nuclear power plant.

I am sure that Welch is closer by road, But by the Mississippi river, Red Wing might be closer.

One day years ago, they had an radiation scare at the plant and evacuated everyone in the plant as well as off the river down to Redwing. No power plant personnel bothered to inform the Reservation across the road.
