I've had many good transactions as a buyer on this board. I've gotten fair prices with fair shipping. It gives members a chance to sell surplus items to those that want to add to their collections. Much less hassle than ebay, and I've never had a deal go bad from this board.
The only thing that bothers me is incessant reminders of ebay items for sale. I think a link when an item is listed is sufficient to let us all watch out for an auction. Too many reminders become spam-like. On the other hand, I wish the seller of those great Sahara chips that Ross acquired had given me a reminder or two!
