Re: WOWWW ALMOST $5.00 FOR A $1.00 TOKEN

Too often, sellers don't understand basic economics. Piss off the buyer, and the buyer will no longer be a customer. Vic Galante is unapologetic about gouging on shipping costs, and as a result, few (if any) people who are aware of what he's doing actually want to do business with him anymore. Further, piss off eBay, and eBay can and will make sure the seller will get bounced. eBay makes its money, in large part, from fees charged to the seller. "Fee avoidance" is usually done by jacking up the shipping and handling, and running the item at a ridiculously low opening price (or, in the case of this Foxwoods token in current use, a "Buy-It-Now" for the lowest possible price) and pad the shipping charges to make some profit which is unaffected by eBay's "Final Value Fee" percentage charge. No wonder it's explicitly against eBay's rules.

Best,
WMD
