Bond Chips.

Hi Gene:

I have seen the first set on eBay (well, at least the numbered ones, not the 'artist proofs'), but have never seen the second types. Colour me jealous! grin

This probably isn't the right place to ask, but there is a site on the internet, www.bondcollectibles.de that appears to have some of the baccarat plaques from Goldeneye, as well as one of the $10,000 Isthmus plaques from Licence to Kill (in addition to having a set of the Isthmus City chips with the red inlays and denominations as were used in filming). I think that they would be cool collectibles, even if not from a real casino. However, I think the 'estimates' of value given on the site are outrageously high (I mean, the site wants something like $150 for a container of sand from the 'Dr. No' beach, and $600 for a piece of Live and Let Die carpet: sheesh-- well, not to criticise if that sort of thing is your bag).

Anyway, is there a way someone would suggest for establishing some means of value for these props? I mean, as (fantasy) casino chips they would probably have more limited value, but as bond memorabilia they would obviously be more desirable. I guess I could just make an offer and the worst they could do would be to turn me down, but I would like to have some idea...

Thanks for any info/insights that anyone can provide...
