Just got back from 2 great weeks in Northern Nevada.
Got to play the last night at the Sundowner before their unannounced closing. Pretty lonely shooting craps by yourself!!!
A friend managed to acquire the Reno Hilton NCV's shown in the scan for me.
When I got home and examined the chips, I found that there were 2 different versions of the 5 & 25 chips. There is a regular H&C and a LCV version.
There is also a flesh color 100 NCV regular H&C in the set that I was not able to get my hands on
I may be wrong but I believe that the LCV version came over from Hilton when it was on North Sierra St. back in the 80's.
The Hilton was having a BJ tournament while I was staying there and the regular H&C 5, 25 and 100 were the only chips in use. A supervisor told me that the 500 and 1000 don't ever see any play?????
I have a few extras for sale if anyone is interested.
