I saw Manhattan Transfer with the Pointer Sisters in Central Park, NYC. It was at the Shaeffer Music Festival that went on all summer long at the Wollman Skating Rink. Different groups each night. Now get this. Tickets for the good seats cost ... $2 each. The seats in the back cost $1 each. If you wanted to sit on the grass outside the skating rink, it was free. Tell your uncle I really enjoyed the concert. Even though Manhattan Transfer was the warm up act for the Pointer Sisters (there were 4 of them at the this concert), I liked Manhattan Transfer better. Great bringing back these memories.
