Some of you may remember my post a couple weeks ago telling you all that I was appointed the new Webmaster for the Casino Chip Webring.

Well, I have now completed my first order of business: I have suspended the accounts and listings for ALL ONLINE CASINOS! Yes, thats right, I tossed them all out. Every last one of them.

The Casino Chip Webring is designed and intened for collectors of casino chips, and thats exactly what I have restored.

My second order of business was to remove redundant sites. There were a few people that had submitted to the webring more then once, and as a result somehow passed through the fingers of the previous webmaster. I have suspended the redundant listings of anyone who was listed more then once. Of course they will remain with their most recent listings, but only one listing/link per site.

The next phase will be to start testing the listed sites to make sure that all listed sites have the webring link on their home page. Those that dont will be notified.

From there, I will begin promoting the webring. Hopefully, the webring will be a way of bringing some newbies onto the hobby and to the chipboard, where they can be nurchured by the loving arms of us experienced chippers.

I feel the webring can be a very helpful and fabulous tool, if presented correctly.
