Ho-chunk update

OK, was up at Ho-chunk last event and got additional information on the new racks. They now have live poker - about a dozen tables spreading 1-5, 2-10, 5-10/20/20 stud, plus 4-8, 6-12, 10-20, and a little omaha. Room was near capacity last evening.

I asked the supervisor of the poker room about the new chips had he indicated that they would not be getting them (remember dealing with a poker room supervisor so judge accordingly). They had ordered "clay" (his words) chips to replace the BJ plastic inlay (slippery as heck) chips. But as of yet they have not been approved (not sure if this means by the casino management, gaming, or whom).

The new slot cards go into effect on Monday. They have a new card that will become a common card for all three properties but this will take a few months. It will also be good at the tables for table points (as opposed to slot points).

In other news they have expanded their table gaming to include 3-card poker, let it ride, bj, but have not gotten into craps or roulette. I am told that is coming within the next few months. They have also gotten a number of other tables and are changing the casino floor to accomodate.
