Actually, on the Second Chance offer, you only pay End price fees. No listing fees.

And selling outside Ebay my not be unethical. But, it is however against Ebay policy. And can get you into hot water if they find out.

Of course in my opinion Ebay is only entitled to the first crack at a buyer. After you establish a relationship with a buyer he/she is your customer. Unless they bid on another of your auctions or don't want to deal with you outside of Ebay.
