I recommend using a Virus Protection Program, Like Norton's Anti-Virus, which I use. It has active virus protection. It intercepts all incoming and outgoing email to check them for viruses. It also checks for new virus definitions every 4 hours and automatically updates. Once a week it checks my hard drives for viruses. I don't think you can be too careful to guard against viruses, especially if you have data that you cannot affford to lose.
