Over the past 4 years I have always stopped by the CalNevAri, whenever I drove through there. Must have stopped 20 times and have never, ever, found their one blackjack table open. It sits next to the bandstand and is always covered.

I've asked about chips and have been told to come back when the owner is around. The owner of course is rather old and is never around.

Of course I may have been brushed off, and it wouldn't be the first time, but I only wish it was that simple to get chips from there.

In the meantime, they still have slots that work with $1 tokens and quarters, and a jillion ashtrays.
