It's always fun to find an old casino matchbook that you can date. This one advertises the Nevada Rodeo inside.... Sept 1942.

Air conditioned during the War in Nevada... very progressive hotel, unless it was just a swamp cooler. But then, they had a Strictly-Modern club.

There seems to be a confilct with The Gaming Table dates unless they didn't always have a gaming license. Three different spellings shown: Farris, Ferris, and Ferriss. All show opening dates after the war though, not 1942.
