I would assume it was bogus, because it was too good to be true.

Why would he be offering these chips for less than half of what they were currently selling for on ebay? Why not put them on ebay and see what he would get? His email address is registered on ebay, so he could set up an auction.

I know he must have seen the ebay auction because the email contained the same text as the auction.

It doesn't make sense to me and if it doesn't make sense I assume it's not true.

I guess someday I may lose out on a great deal, but I'd rather be cautious.
