I'd have to agree with you Don. While the game of foosball may have been patented 100 years ago, it didn't start to become popular until the late 60's. It is the only game that requires physical eye-hand coordination that I can honestly claim to have been able to play at a world class level at one time. I quit playing because I started wearing away or moving around the cushioning elements separating the bones in my wrists. My shots were of enough intensity that my feet would be off the floor due to lift at my wrists. I played goalie. I don't know if I was ever the best, but I do know was in the top three on the planet...
